On This Day in Def Leppard History - 27th March, the following concerts and events took place. Including the announcement of the 2015 UK/Ireland tour with Whitesnake and Black Star Riders.
10 shows were announced for the UK and Ireland with Black Star Riders as support starting on 6th December in Dublin and ending in Sheffield on 19th December.
The poster advertising the tour revealed news of the latest studio album being self-titled and this was later confirmed (and denied) in interviews.
Also on this day in 2008 the first show of the Songs From The Sparkle Lounge tour took place in Greensboro, NC.
On this day in 2011 Vivian Campbell played a show with Thin Lizzy in Sayreville, NJ.
