On This Day in Def Leppard History - 12th June, the following concerts and events took place. Including a show in Dublin, Ireland during the Songs From The Sparkle Lounge tour on this day in 2009.
The opening night of the second 'Sparkle Lounge' tour supporting the 2008 studio album and the two deluxe editions of 'Pyromania' and 'Adrenalize'. The show was attended by U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr and saw the band play The O2 for the first time which replaced the old Point Theatre.

Also on this day in 1988 the band played a show in Montreal, QC, Canada during the Hysteria tour.
