DEF LEPPARD 1979 Live Show Re-Broadcast By BBC 6 Music (14th April)

A Def Leppard live concert from 1979 will be re-broadcast once again by BBC 6 Music next week.

The band played a private show for the BBC at their Paris Theatre studios in August 1979.

BBC 6 Music will re-broadcast the show again during their Live Music Hour on 14th April.

The show was originally broadcast in 1979 and is the best early live recording available of the band before 1983.

The concert featured five songs that would end up on their debut album in 1980 and 'Glad I'm Alive' which would be recorded the following month but never be released.

The band lineup at the time featured both original guitarists Steve Clark and Pete Willis.
