On This Day in Def Leppard History - 18th September, the following concerts and events took place. Including a show in Detroit, MI during the Hysteria tour on this day in 1988.

This was the second of two nights at this venue.

The band were playing multiple nights in some of the biggest arenas in the USA at the time with 'Hysteria' having just started its final week (of six) at top of the Billboard Top 200 album chart the day before.

Later tonight Vivian Campbell will present the first of six radio shows on BBC Radio Ulster showcasing the music that influenced him to become a guitarist.

The 2018 North American tour continues later tonight in Albuquerque, NM with co-headliners Journey. A show rescheduled from 5th September.
