JOE ELLIOTT Says Rock Hall Nomination Is About DEF LEPPARD Fans

Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has once again commented on the band's Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame nomination.

The band unveiled as one of the 2019 nominees on 9th October for the first time having been eligible since 2005.

Joe talked to Steve Baltin of the Forbes website whilst on tour in Hawaii last week.

Joe talked about Hawaii, Hysteria album rehearsals, Elvis Presley, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, his thoughts on the nomination, induction, other nominees, friendship with Robert Plant, Aerosmith, and touring with other big name acts.

The Fan Vote takes place between 9th October to 9th December - VOTE HERE

Def Leppard still lead the Fan Vote by over 4,000 votes. Today they have passed over 300,000 votes in total with the voting ending on 9th December.

On 10th December the voting ballots are handed in and around the same time the five chosen inductees will be announced. Whilst the band are on tour in England.

"We haven't even thought about it. You're the first person who's brought it up. It's the first time I've actually thought about who we would have induct us because we've been nominated, we're not in. If and when that thing comes in, whatever day you hear in December, that's when we'll sit down and go, "Alright, who do we hope we could get to do it."
