JOE ELLIOTT On DEF LEPPARD Alternating With JOURNEY On 2018 Tour
Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott was interviewed with Journey's Neal Schon recently about the 2018 tour.
They spoke to AP News back in January when promoting the 2018 North American tour.
In a short video and interview Joe talks about alternating headliners, longevity of both bands, the 2006 tour, playing hit songs, touring, digital/streaming deal, ticket sales and a possible (joke) collaboration.
Two shows have been played so far in Hartford, CT and last night in Albany, NY.
The tour moves on to Hershey, PA on 25th May.

Joe Elliott Interview Quotes
Co-Headliners
Joe - "In fairness, we wouldn't get involved in that. The two managements would have said OK look, you know, we want San Francisco, it's our home town. Cool OK, then we get something else. So it's just negotiation. It works out if it's 60 shows it's 30 each. Simple as that and it doesn't really...apart from certain gigs where you go we want that one and hopefully it's like OK you can have it."
Joe - "I mean we didn't even argue about San Francisco. It's like well it's their home town of course they want that one. So you know you do the honourable thing."
Neal - "Actually we'd rather open. You know how that goes."
Joe - "Yeah. Straight to bed, too many guests."
2006 YEAH! Tour
"It was such a great tour, and I don’t think either of us has ever forgotten how brilliant it was."
