VIVIAN CAMPBELL On 2018 DEF LEPPARD Tour/Second Last In Line Album

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell was interviewed by Baltimore radio and mentioned the 2018 tour.
Vivian talked to DJ Stash in May before the Def Leppard rehearsals started.
Vivian talked about Last In Line, Belfast, Thin Lizzy, starting Last In Line, 2018 Def Leppard tour, 2006 YEAH! Tour, joining the band in 1992, getting better, current health, second Last In Line album for 2019 and the streaming/digital deal.
He mentioned the current Def Leppard tour before again stating the second Last In Line album would be released in 2019.
He also gave another update on his health and current treatment which is unchanged - and everything is till good!.

2018 Def Leppard Tour
"Yeah this'll be a really big one. We're taking it around the world. You know we're starting in America. 60 plus shows with Journey co-headlining tour. So that'll be epic you know. Journey is a great great band and great catalogue of hit songs much like Leppard you know. So it makes for a good show."
"And then after we're done with America we take it to Japan, Australia, New Zealand. Back to Ireland, England and we finish in December. So it'll be a hefty touring year."
2006 YEAH! Tour
"But it's great to play with Journey. We played with them, it was 12 years ago now, we toured with Journey and that was an epic tour. They have such a catalogue of songs it's just unbelievable."
His Current Health/Is it over?
"No I still do, every three to four weeks, I go to hospital to get an infusion for...I'm doing Immunotherapy. I've been doing it for close to three years now and it seems to be working for me. It's holding everything in place. You know there's minimal side effects and stuff. I can obviously go work and travel and have the occasional shot of Irish whiskey. So it's all good."
Second Last In Line Album In 2019
"Yeah it was a busy day and then we had an album meeting afterwards. So we're finishing up. I was in the studio yesterday and I'm going today. Finishing up the final guitar solos for the next Last In Line album. Which will be coming out early next year. We're holding off on it so we have an opportunity to tour behind it when it's released."
"You know obviously I'm busy this year with Def Leppard and we're really excited about the new record actually. It sounds amazing and it's just gonna be really good."
