DEF LEPPARD On Their Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Honour

Def Leppard were confirmed as 2019 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Inductees last week and Joe Elliott has commented during various interviews.

The Induction announcement was made on 13th December with the final total for fan votes at 547,647.

Def Leppard will be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame at the 2019 Induction ceremony which takes place on 29th March 2019 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

In all seven current and/or former members will be inducted - Joe Elliott, Rick Savage, Rick Allen, Phil Collen, Vivian Campbell, Steve Clark, Pete Willis. Along with the induction and acceptance speeches the band will perform three or four songs.

Joe spoke about the induction the following night on stage at Sheffield (or Fly DSA...) Arena and then on his 15th December radio show.

Once again Joe has said the band will reach out (and already have done) to Pete Willis but are unsure if he would attend.

He was not at the Sheffield concert and Joe's comments suggest his tradition of seeing their home city shows ended in 2003 when Joe, Sav, Frank Noon reunited with him for a backstage photo.
