DEF LEPPARD 2018 HYSTERIA Tour In LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND (Show Report)

Def Leppard played another show on the 2018 Hysteria tour last night in Liverpool, England with 17 songs performed.
The show took place at the 11,000 capacity Echo Arena Liverpool.
The band's first time in Liverpool since 15th July 2008 on the Sparkle Lounge tour.
The 8th appearance by the band in this city and second time at this venue.
The first visit here was in March 1979 at Oscars before they returned in November for two shows supporting AC/DC at Empire Theatre.
The next show took place at Liverpool University in January 1980 before a return on the On Through The Night UK tour in April at Empire Theatre.
In July 1981 the three promo videos for the High 'n' Dry album were filmed before and after a show at the Royal Court Theatre.
They would return to the same venue in February 1983 on the Pyromania tour.
After a gap of 25 years the band returned to Liverpool for a show at the Echo Arena in July 2008 on the Sparkle Lounge tour.
Setlist/Staging
The 'Hysteria' album was played in full for the very first time in Liverpool.
'Don't Shoot Shotgun', 'Run Riot', 'Excitable' and 'Love And Affection' were all played for the first time here.
The full Hysteria album was followed by five songs again. 'Promises' was played as song #13 and for the first time in 2018.
It was last played on 10th November 2015 in Osaka, Japan. And great news for Sav fans...#PinkSav returned for the first time in many months.
Cheap Trick
Cheap Trick opened the show and continued their rotating setlist.
