The venue is located to the South of the main city centre.
It was opened in February 2000 as Mesa del Sol Amphitheater.
From 2001 to 2010 it was known as ABQ Journal Pavilion.
From 2010 to 2013 it was known as The Pavilion.
Since 2013 it has been known as Isleta Amphitheater.
Def Leppard had been due to close this show on 5th September but it was stopped after Journey had played only five songs due to bad weather and strong winds.
They did close this rescheduled show that went ahead as planned but did not see the usual movable front video screens used and therefore no city name show intro.
'When Love & Hate Collide' was played here for the first time.
