They had been due to perform at the same venue on 18th April 1997 on the Slang tour but because of travel issues the show had to be cancelled.

The band actually spent one day and night in the country before leaving for the next shows in Argentina.

Day two of the festival with Guns N' Roses/The Who playing on the 29th.

Aerosmith pulled out of the headline slot on 26th September due to health issues for Steven Tyler. L.A. Guns and RATT both disappeared from the line up to be replaced by Marky Ramone and Kervos Del Sur.
