Def Leppard guitarist Steve Clark made his last UK appearance with the band in February 1989 on Top Of The Pops and a new photo is available.
The band made their third broadcast appearance on the show in February 1989 to play latest single 'Rocket'.
This Top Of The Pops playback appearance was taped at BBC TV Studios on 15th February. Episodes were filmed on a Wednesday before being broadcast on Thursday night at 7:30pm.
This would turn out to be the last UK performance with Steve Clark in the band coming a few days after their performance at the 1989 Brit Awards.
The BBC have published a new photo taken during this performance showing the classic band lineup in their final UK promo appearance for the 'Hysteria' album which turns 30 in August.
The photo is part of a story titled '40 photos that prove the 80s were the best decade' and also features the likes of Depeche Mode and Duran Duran.
