Joe Elliott Sings For Simon Le Bon At Celebrating David Bowie (Video)

Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott performed during tonight's Celebrating David Bowie concert in London and had fun near the end.

The first 'Celebrating David Bowie' concert took place earlier tonight at the O2 Academy Brixton in London, England.

The first in a series of concerts by David Bowie's most recent backing musicians performing with special guest singers.

Joe sang two songs - 'All The Young Dudes' and 'Suffragette City' with musicians including Gail Ann Dorsey, Mark Plati and Mike Garson.

That wasn't the extent of his performing though...

Joe hung out with old friend Steve Norman, saxophonist for Spandau Ballet, and the pair posted a series of video clips during the show.

At one point they danced together as Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran performed David Bowie's 1983 hit 'Let's Dance' (a favourite of Steve Clark's).

The hilarious videos also show them singing backing vocals on the same song and singing together earlier in the evening as 'Five Years' was played behind them.

Steve played saxophone at the show with Gail Ann Dorsey on 'Young Americans'.

Joe was stood next to Simon at the end as the performers took their bows (shown in the photo below). The first time they have appeared on stage together.

He also got the last words in on stage for the evening - "Two words - David Bowie!" - see last video.
