Joe Elliott At Celebrating David Bowie LA #2 (Show Report/Photos)

Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott performed two songs at night 2 of 2 Celebrating David Bowie concerts in Los Angeles, CA last night.

The show took place at The Wiltern Theatre.

The latest in a series of concerts by David Bowie's most recent backing musicians performing with special guest singers.

Other shows took place in London, New York with more to follow in Tokyo and Sydney.

Joe paid tribute to David Bowie last year after hearing of his death which happened on 10th January 2016 in New York.

Joe performed the same two songs as on night one - 'All The Young Dudes' and 'Suffragette City'

'All The Young Dudes' featured the Sela Gospel Choir once more.

Joe dedicated this song to Def Leppard's manager Howard Kaufman who (apparently) died last week aged 79 without it being widely mentioned anywhere.

Howard was part of HK Management which has managed the band since late 2005. The band's sole manager is now Mike Kobayashi.

The main band for this show was the same members of David Bowie's past tour line-ups.

They included Gail Ann Dorsey, Mark Plati, Mike Garson, Gerry Leonard, Earl Slick, Adrian Belew, Holly Palmer and Zachary Alford.

This show was streamed on Facebook but the video is no longer available to view.

Special guests at this show included Sting and Gavin Rossdale (Bush). Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction did not perform on night two but was listed on the printed setlist.

Sting performed the full version of 'Blackstar'. It's first ever live performance along with 'Lazarus' from David's final album.
