Def Leppard's HYSTERIA Album Re-Enters UK Chart At Number 14

Hysteria 1987.

Def Leppard's Hysteria album has re-entered the UK charts this week at Number 14 following its re-release on 4th August.

The Hysteria 30th anniversary editions were released last week and the single CD version has entered the main UK album chart.

This takes the album to 106 weeks on the chart since it first entered at Number One in August 1987.

The album had previously spent 105 weeks on the UK charts in eight separate chart runs between August 1987 and May 1994.

The 2006 Deluxe Edition was not eligible for the chart and the 30th anniversary edition appears to have re-entered based on sales of the single CD remastered edition which is essentially a re-release of the original.

Curiously it did not enter the Rock chart.

The band's first UK chart entry since February 2017 when the 'And There Will Be A Next Time...Live From Detroit' DVD got to Number 4 on the Music Video Chart Top 50.

This followed on from the current self-titled DEF LEPPARD album entering the main album chart at Number 11 in November 2015 alongside a Number One entry on the Rock Chart.

Ed Sheeran is currently at Number One with his album 'Divide'.

Other rock acts on the same chart include Foo Fighters (22) and Oasis (25 & 40).

Additionally the album has also entered the UK Vinyl chart at Number Three.
