Def Leppard 2017 Tour Montreal, Quebec (Show Report)

Def Leppard played another show on the 2017 North American Tour last night in Montreal, QC with 17 songs performed.

The show took place at the 11,440 capacity Bell Centre.

The band's first time in Montreal since 2nd May 2015 on the 2015 world tour.

The tenth show the band have played in Montreal and 7th time at this venue.

The first visit to Montreal was in June 1983 on the Pyromania tour at The Forum (or Le Forum).

They returned in June 1988 to the same venue for an In The Round show on the Hysteria tour with Tesla in support.

A second In The Round show then took place in August 1992 on the Adrenalize tour.

Four years later they played the Molson Centre (Bell Centre) for the first time on the Slang tour.

After another four year gap they returned on the Euphoria tour.

Four more shows have since taken place at Bell Centre in 2003, 2007, 2012 and 2015.

The 2012 show featured Poison in the special guest slot as they were last night.

17 songs were played with no changes from night one.

The three new songs 'Let's Go'. 'Dangerous' and 'Man Enough' all kept their place in the set and were played in Montreal for the very first time.

Joe acknowledged the loud and enthusiastic crowd which Montreal audiences have always been noted for. All band members having previously mentioned the Montreal crowds as the loudest they play to.
