Show Intro

"Evening all and welcome once again to the Joe Elliott show right here on the wonderful Planet Rock. All the way this week from Fort Myers in Florida where we're about to headline a massive rock fest. It's actually called Fort Rock. We have sixty minutes of wonderful music for you tonight. Starting off in the Kingdom Of Madness with Magnum."

Magnum

"They were our special guests on the 1980 On Through The Night tour of the UK. They are Magnum and from their debut album Kingdom Of Madness we just heard there In The Beginning."

Billy Squier

"So on to a gentleman that we were special guests to in 1983. This is Billy Squier."

"And before that Billy Squier from the album Don't Say No 1982. The song Too Daze Gone."

Frankie Miller

"From an album called Frankie Miller's Double Take that is of course Frankie Miller featuring on guitar Mr. Joe Walsh. A song called Blackmail."

Coverdale Page

"So from one great singer, Frankie Miller, and one great guitarist, Joe Walsh. To another great double act. This is Coverdale Page."

"And before that we heard Coverdale Page from their solitary one album with a song called Over Now."

Humble Pie

"This week's show seems to have an array of fantastic singer's doesn't it. That's Humble Pie featuring the wonderfully tonsiled Mr. Steve Marriott. From the album called Eat It a song called Black Coffee. You may remember I actually played Phil Collen's Delta Deep version about a couple of months ago. Great song."

"You are listening to the Joe Elliott show on Planet Rock all the way from Fort Myers on Florida this week. It's time for a little break and when we come back, we're going diving with Stevie Winwood."

Steve Winwood

"And before that Stevie Winwood from 1980 just, the album was released on the 31st December of that year. The album is Arc Of A Diver and the song we just heard While You See Your Chance."

Peter Gabriel ft Kate Bush

"It's highly likely that the only guy that would ever wake up in the morning and go hmm, I think I'll write a song about a burglar, would be the guy we just heard. One Mr. Peter Gabriel from his third solo album which was called Peter Gabriel. Just like his second solo album was and his first solo album. The song we just heard Intruder."

The Alan Parsons Project

"Right then with their wonderful tales of mystery and imagination this is the The Alan Parsons Project."

"And before that The Alan Parsons from the album Tales Of Mystery, Imagination. All about Edgar Alan Poe we heard the song The Raven."

The Doors

"I must admit that when I was a kid I wasn't really the biggest Doors fan on the planet because I thought they were a little bit too grown up. But now that I'm supposedly all grown up, I seem to have fell in love with them. And from their 50th anniversary, 50th anniversary! edition of their debut album that is Crystal Ship."

The Damned

"And I think that's about enough grown up music for this week. This is The Damned."

"And before that from their Best Of collection we heard The Damned, the first ever Punk rock single with New Rose.

The Stranglers

"Taken from their Greatest Hits album 1977 to 1990. That's The Stranglers with Tank."

Show Outro

"And that my friends all the way from Fort Myers in Florida is about it for this week. It's been a real pleasure as always. I shall be back with you god willing next week at the same time all the way from Charlotte in North Carolina. On the ever of what will be the last show of leg 1 of this 2017 US tour."

"Having just played The Damned, I'm now gonna play you and finish off this week's show with a guy who is the biggest fan of The Damned that I have ever met. His name is Duff McKagan. This is his band Loaded and the song Indian Summer. Until next week see ya!."
