On This Day in Def Leppard History - 5th October, the following concerts and events took place. Including the Def Leppard Day events in Sheffield, England 21 years ago on this day in 1995.

Events included the opening of the National Centre For Popular Music, plaques being unveiled at Crooke's Workingmen's Club and Don Valley Stadium and an acoustic concert at The Wapentake club.

Also on this day in 1993 the 'Retro-Active' compilation/rarities album was released in US/CAN a day after the UK/World release. It went on to reach the Top Ten of the Billboard Top 200 chart.
