Def Leppard played an acoustic show in Singapore City, Singapore 21 years ago on 26th October 1995 during the Vault promo tour and video footage/photos are available.
Following the release of the 'Vault Greatest Hits 1980-1995' album on 23rd October the band continued their two month acoustic tour.
On 24th October 1995, the day after their record breaking 3 Continents In One Day event, the band flew 22 hours from Vancouver to Singapore.
After one day of rest the band played a special acoustic concert for Channel V.
This was billed as "V At The Hard Rock" with most of the songs broadcast as part of a TV special.
The show featured 10 songs and short interview clips.
The band were in a very good mood as you can see/hear in the videos including a very humorous show intro where Joe does the intro backwards - Rick Allen found it most amusing!.
Other than the six songs shown below the band also played - 'Hysteria', 'Ziggy Stardust', 'You Can't Always Get What You Want', 'Get It On (Bang A Gong)' and two songs from the then unreleased 'Slang' album - 'All I Want Is Everything' and 'Where Does Love Go When It Dies'.
In an Australian TV interview filmed around a week after this performance Phil told a brief story of how the band, in Spinal Tap fashion, got lost when making their way to the stage for this show.
This was the band's first ever visit to Singapore. They would return in May 1996 for a full live show, the second date of the Slang world tour.
They returned to the city last year on 24th November during the 2015 world tour.

Slang - UK Limited Edition Acoustic In Singapore CD
The Limited Edition version of the UK 'Slang' album featured an extra bonus CD made up of six live tracks recorded at this show.
The songs included - 'Armageddon It', 'Two Steps Behind', 'From The Inside', 'Animal', 'When Love & Hate Collide' and 'Pour Some Sugar On Me'.
