Def Leppard played a show on the Adrenalize tour in Pittsburgh, PA on 7th November 1992 and an archive tour diary is available to read.

Joe Elliott wrote a tour diary for Kerrang! Magazine after the show which took place at the Civic Arena.

The band's first visit to this arena since January 1988 on the Hysteria tour.

They first played the city in July 1980 at the Stanley Theatre and returned there in August and September 1981 with Ozzy Osbourne and Blackfoot on the High 'n' Dry tour.

The first headline show took place in June 1983 on the Pyromania tour followed up by the January 1988 In The Round show.

The 1992 show was their second In the Round show at this venue using the new 'Adrenalize' album themed stage design.

"But it has to be said that Pittsburgh is a very important area for us, so we weren't too happy about not playing there. So after much research, it turned out that good old Neil Diamond had this transportable roof. So we rented it off him for a not-too-shabby fee, and hey presto! - Def Leppard in Pittsburgh!"
