Def Leppard played a show on the Slang tour in Birmingham, England on 16th November 1996 and high quality media photos are available.
The show took place at the NEC Arena and was the second of two nights.
This was the third tour in a row where they played multiple nights at this venue.
The setlist for this second show included the rarely played 'Turn To Dust' replacing 'Deliver Me' which had been played the night before.
The third show of the UK tour which had started in Sheffield on 14th November.
The first ever show in Birmingham took place at the Odeon Theatre in September 1979 as support to Sammy Hagar. They would return a month later for their first headline show at the Barbarellas club.
They came back in February 1980 for a second headline show and the next four shows all took place at the Odeon Theatre between April 1980 and December 1983.
Three shows followed on the Hysteria tour starting in September 1987 at the short lived NEC Forum venue before moving up to the 14,000 capacity NEC Arena for two nights in April 1988.
A three night stand (their first in a UK arena venue) took place here in June/July 1992 when they also played 'In The Round' for the first and only time in their homeland.
