On This Day in Def Leppard History - 1st June, the following concerts and events took place. Including the opening show of the Rock 'n' Roll Double Header co-headline tour with Bryan Adams in Portland, OR on this day in 2005.

The band played 26 shows with Bryan in minor league baseball stadiums across the USA. Def Leppard and Bryan Adams would alternate headline duties with Randy Coleman opening the show. The tour was so successful they teamed up again for a run of shows in October/November 2005 billed as the 'Double Shot Of Rock' tour.

Also on this day in 1996 the 'Slang' album entered the US album charts at Number 14. The album spent 12 weeks on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

The band played an outdoor show in Jakarta, Indonesia on this day in 1996 which was filmed for local TV.
