Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott has been included as part of a new charity art event in his home city of Sheffield, England.

The Herd Of Sheffield art project has been set up by a local Children's Hospital charity.

It is taking place around the city for the next few months and started in late June.

Various elephants have been designed and placed around the city.

Joe's face has been included on one of the elephants displayed in Tudor Square (near the Crucible Theatre and Wintergardens).

This square was where the band released 10,000 VAULT balloons during the Def Leppard day event in October 1995.

The image is from an Hysteria era photograph.

Other music stars on this elephant include Jarvis Cocker from Pulp (wearing glasses)
