Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen and his Delta Deep band appeared on Jonesy's Jukebox on 13th January and audio is available.
Phil talked about Delta Deep's history, a new live album, their recent Sugar Shack tour, Manraze, the Def Leppard album, cruise and 2016 tour, the Delta Deep album and Robert Deleo talked briefly about Stone Temple Pilots.
The band played full band acoustic versions of 'Treat Her Like Candy', 'Black Dog' (Led Zeppelin), 'Shuffle Sweet' and 'Private Number'.
And as with previous appearances on the show by Phil with Def Leppard and Manraze, some of the interview was quite amusing.
Jonesy's Jukebox - Phil Collen Interview Quotes
Delta Deep West Coast Live Album
"About two years actually. We've got an album out last year but we're just doing a bit of touring. We just done a California leg and a live album. It's gonna be called 'West Coast Live'. So we've been doing that. It's been great. We was in Santa Cruz last night."
Future Manraze Music?
"Well funnily enough actually one of the tracks. We covered Humble Pie's Black Coffee on the album. And Cooky and Simon played on that one as well. So they're actually on the album. So I dunno - yeah. Whenever we get the time really. Absolutely. We've got other stuff. Other songs."
