US Tour 2015/2016
Def Leppard have been forced to postpone all upcoming tour dates in February due to Joe Elliott's illness.
Rick Allen had confirmed yesterday that Joe was told by a doctor that he needed to rest his voice for at least one month in order to recover from his laryngitis. If not he may permanently damage his voice.
The band and all venues have today confirmed the postponements.
13 shows with Styx and Tesla were announced in October 2015 for January and February.
The first of these in Greensboro, NC was postponed earlier this week.
Saturday night's show in Orlando, FL was postponed at the last minute only a few hours before show time.
The last time the band had to cancel or postpone this many shows was in October 2009. All 23 shows running from 22nd October to 28th November 2009 were cancelled on the 16th October.
A statement at the time said - "...we don't take cancelling shows lightly, but unfortunately life's commitments need to be the priority.". Joe later revealed it was he who wanted the tour scrapped so he could be with his wife as she prepared for the birth of their son (born in December that year).

Rock group Def Leppard, scheduled to play Allentown's PPL Center with Styx and Tesla on Feb. 17, has postponed the rest of the dates on its winter tour, including the Allentown stop, due to an unspecified illness, the arena just announced.
In all, 10 dates were postponed, starting with Feb. 2 in San Antonio, Texas and finishing the Allentown date.
The dates will be rescheduled, with new dates will be announced soon, PPL Center said.
It said tickets will be honored on the rescheduled dates.
