Phil is shown talking about a new DiMarzio Super Distortion Pickup on a Gibson Les Paul guitar that he bought in London in the early 70s.

The interview was taped in a recording studio and Phil plays along to 'Photograph' as a demonstration using his Jackson Xstroyer.

Phil Collen Interview Quotes

First Guitar

"This is my first Gibson Les Paul. I actually borrowed the money off of my Mum when I was working in a factory. I left school, worked in a burglar alarm factory. And said I have to have a Les Paul. Very soon afterwards I said I have to have this DiMarzio Pickup that I'd read about. When I tried one for the first time it just blew me away."
