"Evening all welcome to the Joe Elliott show here on the wonderful Planet Rock. Coming to you this week all the way from Madison in Wisconsin. On the first night of leg 2 of the 2016 Def Leppard US tour. It's gonna be a good one tonight. We have sixty minutes of fantastic music. Let's jump straight on it shall we, with this. This is Montrose."

Montrose

"From their fourth and final studio album back in 1976 that is Montrose. Title track of said album, a song called Jump On It."

The Babys

"Now if you're into your 70s AOR music. You may be interested to know that this lot have just reformed. This is The Babys."

"And before that, from a band that apparently have just reformed. The Babys from an album called Union Jacks. Maybe they'll come and play some gigs in the UK with an album called Union Jacks. Maybe they should. The song we just heard Midnight Rendezvous."

Elton John

"And before that Elton John from an album called Rare Masters. I did say before the break that it was with a bit of a twist that I was playing Madman Across the Water. The twist is that that particular version didn't feature Davey Johnson on lead guitar but Mick Ronson on lead guitar. Amazing version of Madman Across the Water."

Show Outro

"And that my friends all the way from Madison, Wisconsin is it for this week. It's a pleasure as always. I shall be back with you god willing next week at the same time from Raleigh in North Carolina."

"So until then I'm gonna leave you with this beautiful piece of work from Rod Stewart and The Faces. be careful out there, otherwise you could end up as a Borstal Boy. Until next week see ya!."
