Def Leppard played a 2016 Summer Tour show last night in Birmingham, AL with 17 songs performed.

The show took place at the 11,000 capacity Oak Mountain Amphitheatre.

The band's first time in Birmingham since 27th June 2015 on the 2015 world tour.

The ninth show the band have played in Birmingham (or Pelham) and fourth time at this venue.

The first visit here took place in May 1983 at Boutwell Memorial Auditorium during the Pyromania tour. Just a couple of weeks into their first US headline tour.

Two In The Round shows followed at the same venue starting in December 1987 on the Hysteria tour (supported by Tesla).

The second one and last of three shows at that venue happened in November 1992 on the Adrenalize tour.

The first show at Oak Mountain took place in July 1996 during the Slang tour.

They would not return to this city until June 2005 on the first Rock Of Ages tour at the City Stages Festival.

Two more visits to Oak Mountain took place in November 2006 and August 2008 when the venue was known as the Verizon Wireless Music Center.

The 2015 show was to have been the place where Vivian returned to the tour but this was delayed until the next show in Atlanta after travel issues.

The same setlist was played again.
