Def Leppard will start rehearsals for their upcoming US tour in the USA next week according to Joe Elliott.
The main US summer tour was announced on Planet Rock radio show and starts on 22nd June in Mansfield/Boston, MA.
The first show takes place on 2nd May in Pensacola, FL.
Their first visit to Pensacola since April 2003 on the X/Ten tour.
Joe mentioned the rehearsals at the end of his show saying they will take place in a 'secret location'.
Or in other words at Mates Studios in Burbank, California where the band have rehearsed for most of their US tours since early 1992.
This is also where Vivian Campbell first played with the band as they auditioned guitar players to join them before the start of the Adrenalize world tour.
Updated - Phil has now revealed in a new interview that the band will actually be rehearsing in Florida and not their usual location.
The photo of Sav and Joe shown above was taken from a video interview shot at the studios in 2012 as they rehearsed for the Rock Of Ages tour.
The main US summer tour was announced on 29th February and starts on 22nd June in Mansfield/Boston, MA. Although the May shows now make it a 56 show summer tour.
The May shows will be Joe's first time back in concert after his recovery from a haemorrhaged vocal cord which resulted in the postponements.
