The first show in this city since September 2011 on the Mirrorball Tour.

The fourth time at this venue.

The venue is located in the central business district of the city and next to the larger 70,000 plus capacity Superdome.

It was opened in October 1999 as New Orleans Arena.

Since 2014 it been called the Smoothie King Center.

This show was announced on 27th May 2016 some three months after the main tour announcement and was the final date to be confirmed for the 2016 tour.

Joe once again mentioned how hot it was during his regular pre Rock On speech.
