Def Leppard 2015
Def Leppard will release their highly anticipated new self titled studio album on 30th October and there are 30 days to go.
The band revealed the final running order for the album on Instagram on 14th September.
The first single/radio track Let's Go was then premiered online a day later and released digitally on 16th September.
The album recording started in February 2014 when the band thought they might record one or two songs for a possible online release.
They ended up with 12 in that first session and decided to make a full album. This countdown tells the story of the album over the 2014/2015 recording period as told by the band in various interviews.

"Someone comes in with one idea and if they get stuck someone else finishes it off or it inspires something else or someone comes in with a totally finished song and all the above. So - actually even Rick Allen came in with a really cool song and Joe finished some lyrics off to it and that sounds great as well. So that's a very different dynamic for us cause Rick has never written songs before. So I think we're going through a very creative period in the band where everyone's come up with these different ideas."

"Even like solos and all sorts of things it's the quickest - kind of most flowing we've ever been I think. And I think that's cause we had different expectations. You know everyone was open minded and I don't know something happened and some really cool stuff. It's very varied and it's gonna be a new album for next year. We just said why stop at four or whatever let's just complete it."
