Def Leppard 2015
Def Leppard will release their highly anticipated new self titled studio album on 30th October and there are 26 days to go.
The band revealed the final running order for the album on Instagram on 14th September.
The first single/radio track Let's Go was then premiered online a day later and released digitally on 16th September.
A new lyric video for this song was released via YouTube on 2nd October.
The album recording started in February 2014 when the band thought they might record one or two songs for a possible online release.
They ended up with 12 in that first session and decided to make a full album. This countdown tells the story of the album over the 2014/2015 recording period as told by the band in various interviews.

"These songs are a cross section, some of them are really heavy and kind of very melodic or - and then some are just very different. You know you wouldn't even think that - we haven't gone with some of these styles but you can still tell it's Def Leppard. So we're very excited about that and that'll be out next year and we'll be touring a lot more next year as well."

"This year we're pretty much chocl-a-block because we finish - I think we've got a couple of shows in November - and then we really have to finish our new album off. Which we actually only started in February. We've got 15 songs on the go and we have to finish that so we can get it released for next year hopefully and then it'll be a world tour."

"We thought the album is dead and all this stuff. We're just gonna go in and write maybe stuff for an EP or something but we got 12 songs which is so rare for us. So if you've got a flow going like that you don't stop it so we said OK. The EP is all nice and that but we've got an album here. So there you go."
