The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Evening all and welcome to the Joe Elliott show right here on Planet Rock. Coming to you this week all the way from Bismarck in North Dakota. Today is a day off. We have 8 shows left and tonight we have chosen to have our end of tour party because tomorrow is the last show that we do with our very good friends Styx. They've been with us all the way since June. We saw it only fair to throw a party that involved those guys because Foreigner are taking over for the last few shows. Tonight it will get feisty because that's what happens when you have end of tour parties. So let's have a feisty show tonight shall we. Starting off with these boys, Hersham boys in fact, yes it's Sham 69."

Show Outro

"Getting his psychedelic groove on as always there. That is The Move featuring the wonderful talents of Mr. Roy Wood with the song I Can Hear The Grass Grow. And before that from an album that I have called the Best Sixties Album In The World Ever, we heard the Easybeats with a song that would be covered on the Pin-Ups album in 1973 by David Bowie. A song called Friday On My Mind."

"And that my friends is about it for this week all the way from Bismarck in North Dakota, been a pleasure as always. I shall be back with you next week at the same time from Wichita, Kansas. Where maybe, maybe we'll try and track down that elusive lineman that Glen Campbell sang about all those years ago. Until next week see ya!."
