Def Leppard 2015
Def Leppard will release their highly anticipated new self titled studio album on 30th October and there are 27 days to go.
The band revealed the final running order for the album on Instagram on 14th September.
The first single/radio track Let's Go was then premiered online a day later and released digitally on 16th September.
A new lyric video for this song was released via YouTube yesterday.
The album recording started in February 2014 when the band thought they might record one or two songs for a possible online release.
They ended up with 12 in that first session and decided to make a full album. This countdown tells the story of the album over the 2014/2015 recording period as told by the band in various interviews.

"We'll do another month-long session after the tour, mix it early next year and hopefully it's out by March or April of 2015. There was so much flow among the band in the studio. There was no dry period. We had so many ideas. It still sounds like Def Leppard, but it has all these other influences."

"The next session was in May we finished off some of the other stuff and wrote three more so we've got 15 songs to choose from. We're gonna go back probably in November when we've finished this tour and just finished the whole thing off and put an album out next year. Like I said it was a big surprise to us because you know it's not that important to put albums out these days because no one actually goes and buys them it's kind of a rare thing. But you know we're not gonna stop the flow so we said we've got this stuff. We're very excited about it. It's just a great collection of music."

"We've got 15 on the go and pretty much done. Most of the backing tracks are done. You know we've got some backing vocals to do. Joe's mainly got those to do and stuff there's the odd guitar solo. It's the quickest we've ever worked. We have such a great flow going so that'll be ready and out next year. So when we get off the road here we'll go back in and start doing that."
