Def Leppard 2015
Def Leppard will release their highly anticipated new self titled studio album on 30th October and there are 3 days to go.
Read a new Track By Track guide to all 14 songs based on what we currently know about them.
The band revealed the final running order for the album on Instagram on 14th September.
The first single/radio track Let's Go was then premiered online a day later and released digitally on 16th September.
A new lyric video for this song was released via YouTube on 2nd October.
Track 2 Dangerous was premiered on 16th October via the Billboard website.
Classic Rock recently revealed the front cover of the Limited Edition Fanpack released in the UK on 30th October.
The album recording started in February 2014 when the band thought they might record one or two songs for a possible online release.
They ended up with 12 in that first session and decided to make a full album. This countdown tells the story of the album over the 2014/2015 recording period as told by the band in various interviews.

"It's also a very diverse record. We covered all the elements of Def Leppard's career pretty much," he says, noting that to capture the rock sound of the early days of the act they set up in the studio and recorded live - something they hadn't done since 1996's Slang. There are also, surprisingly for a band now in its 38th year, a couple of firsts on the record, including a psychedelic track that Campbell says "still sounds unmistakably Def Leppard," and one track where they all sing lead vocals. It's a great, great record," he says. "We're really, really proud of it."

"Within a month we had 12 songs. Literally, the very last day as we were about to leave I told Joe (Elliott, Def Leppard's singer), 'I've got this idea.' And he said, 'I've got this chorus.' And we wrote a song in 10 minutes. It shocked me, the fact that we had the flow. What was going to be an EP ended up being a whole album."
