Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen has been interviewed by Milwaukee radio and mentioned Vivian's health.

Phil talked about his fitness and health, the Gunter Glieben Glouten Globen intro story, PSSOM's success and how it was written and Vivian's health issues.

Although Phil was on the show to promote his new book they didn't actually talk about it but he did give a little bit of insight into Vivian's current health status.

WKLH Mornings with Dave Luczak - Phil Collen Interview Quote

How is Viv Campbell doing dealing with Hodgkin's?

"He's great you know he had different treatments. He's been - while we've been on tour he's been - sometimes he has to go off and - every two or three weeks he has to go and have a treatment back in LA. So and that works out great. I mean it's a real easy procedure. He just walks in, ten minutes and he's out again and then he gets on a plane and then he joins us back out on tour somewhere."

"So a lot of travel for Viv but he's doing great. He's doing really good. He's healthy and he's running around on stage and singing. I always know when he's not very well because you know we have to harmonise all the time, our vocals. That was the first clue I got that he wasn't feeling well. You know a couple of years ago when he first heard about this Hodgkin's Lymphoma because all of a sudden our blend - I mean as weird as that sounds - the blend on our vocals wasn't quite gelling and you know it has been for 20 something years. And all of a sudden there was something a bit off so you know that's how I could tell that there was something weird and that he says wow I've just had these tests and I got this cancer thing. But he's doing great. As well like I said he's back to singing great."
