US Tour 2015

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell gave a small update on the current tour on 11th October.

Following the last show with Tesla Wichita, KS on 10th October Vivian gave a short tour update where he revealed the three bands are likely to tour again in early 2016.

Styx played their final show of the tour in Bismarck, ND on 2nd October.

The first news of tour dates for next year following many mentions by the band in interviews that they will be touring again in 2016 for the new album.

Tesla suggested more tour dates could happen as early as February in their update about the collaboration with Phil. They did play solo shows before the current tour so that may have just been a reference to their own solo dates.

The first 48 dates of the summer tour with Styx/Tesla were announced on 12th February with more dates added later on.

In mid July Tesla guitarist Frank Hannon presented Vivian with one of his Gibson SG guitars as a gift.

Vivian Campbell - 11th October Facebook Quotes

"Sad that tonight was the last show with Tesla. We'll miss those guys a lot. However, rumour has it we'll be seeing them - and Styx, again in the early part of 2016, so all good!"

"Aside from that, please accept my apologies for what was the absolute worst show that I've had this entire tour (apart from the first 4 shows that I missed, obviously). My mojo just wasn't swinging tonight and my mind was elsewhere. I'm very sorry Wichita; you deserved a lot better from me."
