The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Well it's finally out folks. After all that anticipation. After all that waiting. The album finally hit the streets yesterday. Good evening everybody. It's the Joe Elliott show right here on Planet Rock and I am of course talking about the brand new Def Leppard album. Which if you're in the UK or Ireland, hit your local newsagents yesterday because we've done for the first month a Fanpack. If you are listening rest of the world. You'll find it in whatever masquerades these days as your local record store. And am I gonna play any of it tonight?. You bet I am."

Def Leppard - Broke 'n' Brokenhearted

"Co written by myself and Phil Collen. This is Track 10 from the brand new Def Leppard album. A song called Broke 'n' Brokenhearted. And more of that later maybe."

The Beatles

"If you think about some of the greatest rock artists of all time that have come of the UK. Some of them, or most of them, will have influenced the way that the new Def Leppard album sounds in one way or another. Yes, even this crowd. This is the Fab Four."

Show Outro

"And that my friends the day after the brand new Def Leppard album hit the streets, that's about it for me this week. I shall be back with you next week at the same time. It's been a pleasure as always. I shall probably be playing some new Leppard next week."

"But I'm definitely ending the show with some. So let's go out shall we on an All Time High. Until next week see ya!."
