The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Evening all and welcome to a very jet lagged Joe Elliott show this evening having just blazed through Canada - 13 shows. I'm finally back on home territory. Amazing time. We started off in the rain and the wind. We went through snow and by the end of the tour we'd hit 70 degree weather and as a lot of my Canadian friends will testify. They don't really have a Spring, they just go from winter straight to summer. And it's not really that warm around here is it. It's certainly not hot but we are ready. This is U.F.O."

Trapper

"Now you may remember last week I played a band called One Bad Son who opened for Leppard on the first ten shows if this Canadian tour. The band that opened for the last three are this crowd. They're called Trapper."

"And before that from an EP called Go For The Heart we heard the band Trapper who were Def Leppard's special guests for the last three shows on the Canadian tour with a song called Technology Killed Our Love."

Def Leppard

"And from the opening act to the headliners. Here's a song that we've recently put back in the set that we haven't done for a while but it's always fun to do even though we didn't actually write this one."

"And before that we heard Def Leppard of course with a song from the David Essex song book, classic called Rock On."

Show Outro

"From their second and best so far album The Killer Instinct that is the Black Star Riders with Bullet Blues and before that the Heavy Metal Kids from the 1976 album Kitsch with Cry For Me."

"And that's about it for this week folks been a pleasure as always. I shall be back with you next week at the same time. Until then gonna leave you with Motor Sister a band born out of Scott Ian's 50th birthday party. If you need more information google it. This is Motor Sister and Get That Girl. Until next week see ya!."
