Def Leppard/KISS Tour 2014
Def Leppard and KISS announced the 2014 Summer Tour of the USA and Canada one year ago on this day in 2014.
The tour was announced on 17th March 2014 at a press conference in Los Angeles.
The event was held at the House Of Blues before an audience of 200 invited military veterans and service members and streamed live on Live Nation's website.
The bands played 42 shows between 23rd June 2014 in West Valley City/Salt Lake City, UT through to 31st August in Houston/Woodlands, TX.
One dollar from every ticket sold was donated to veterans.
This was the first time the two bands had toured together. They were rumoured to be continuing this but it now seems unlikely after a recent announcement by KISS of Australian shows.

Joe Elliott - "We're not jam bands either of us," Elliott said in an interview from Dublin. "It's very theatrical what Kiss does to a lesser extent obviously 'cause we don't do the makeup thing, our show runs like a military operation for sure.
