Muse Drones
UK band Muse have announced the release of their new Mutt Lange produced album Drones.
Robert John 'Mutt' Lange co-produced the album with the band at The Warehouse studio in Vancouver, Canada.
Recording of their seventh studio album started in October 2014 and was finished in January. Its release was announced earlier tonight on the band's website.
As mentioned recently the band have been posting teasers on Instagram with one of these featuring Mutt talking in the studio.
The album is released on 8th June and the full tracklist can be seen below.
A new song called 'Psycho' is available from tomorrow with a pre order of the album. This is also the title of their intimate UK tour which starts on Sunday in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The cover art has also been revealed and was done by Matt Mahurin. Matt directed the Leppard promo videos for 'Stand Up (Kick Love Into Motion)' (1992) and 'All I Want Is Everything' (1996).
Muse Drones Album - News Quotes
Drones will be released on 8 June 2015!
From Matt (Bellamy): "To me, 'Drones' are metaphorical psychopaths which enable psychopathic behaviour with no recourse. The world is run by Drones utilizing Drones to turn us all into Drones. This album explores the journey of a human, from their abandonment and loss of hope, to their indoctrination by the system to be a human drone, to their eventual defection from their oppressors."
The first single from Drones, "Dead Inside," will debut the week of 23 March. Preorder for the new album will be available tomorrow at 7:30pm GMT, along with the new song "Psycho."
