Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott was interviewed by English Nick of 97.1 The River radio and talked about the album release plans.

Joe talked about the 1986 Donington festival show, the 1987 Bristol/1988 Wembley Arena shows, using video screens live, the In The Round stage show, the Summer Tour 2014 with KISS, Kings Of Chaos, the 2015 studio album, touring with Styx/Tesla and the Atlanta show.

Joe suggests the album may be released in late Summer/early Autumn. Which ties in to what Vivian has said recently.

English Nick - Joe Elliott Interview Quotes

Dublin/2015 Studio Album

"I am at home yeah I'm about to nip back down to the studio when we're finished and - we're outing the finishing touches to the new album."

"Yeah we've recorded nearly everything from Adrenalize onwards here. Makes a lot of sense really and it's great for me it's 35 feet from my bedroom door. So I don't have to jump in the car."

Album Release Date?

"Possibly late Summer/early Autumn yeah. I'm really not sure at the moment because we were gonna release it in time for the tour. But then things change. You know we were - we thought well there's no point in rushing it. We really down wanna rush it. It's more important that it's a good record than it's an early record if you like."

"And we've had an unprecedented amount of people sniffing round. So - because we're free agents. You know we finance the record ourselves and then all of a sudden we were just gonna release it ourselves. But then a lot of people are coming round going 'well, let's talk.' So we have to give them at least the benefit of listening to what they've got to say. And that's just takes time that's all."
