Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen has interviewed by Charlotte Observer and said the new self titled studio album has been mixed.
Phil talked about Vivian's health, staying in shape, Delta Deep, solo projects, and the new self titled 'Def Leppard' studio album.
Phil said the new album was mixed in March before the tour started. As with many of these local tour interviews, it may have been conducted a while ago.
The band play a show in Charlotte on 30th June 2015 at PNC Music Pavilion.
Their first show in the city since July last year on the Summer Tour 2014 with KISS.

What's the status of the new Def Leppard album?
"We're so close. We mixed it in March. It will be out in October. It's really diverse. It goes from really hard rock to absolute over-the-top melodies with super multitrack vocals to Top 40 (style) songs. We went in to record a single and came out with 12 songs. The motivation was purely ours. It wasn't a business thing, or a label thing. It was done for the right reasons."
