Tesla have debuted their 1991 classic Song And Emotion on the Def Leppard 2015 world tour in the last few days.

The song was released on their 1991 'Psychotic Supper' album and was dedicated to Steve Clark who had passed away earlier that year.

They played the song for the first time whilst supporting Def Leppard on 3rd July in Virginia Beach, VA and played it for a second time last night in Uncasville, CT.

Guitarist Frank Hannon had told a Lep fan who attended his solo show in Austin, TX in January that the band would play it this summer when supporting Lep. It now appears it might be a mainstay of their set throughout the US shows this summer.

The band performed the song on Hangin' With MTV in May 1992. Watch this fantastic live version first mentioned in October 2014 on the 26th anniversary of the end of the Hysteria tour.

That update includes the band explaining the meaning behind the song. View a recent 2015 performance of the song below.

Tesla - July 2015 News Quotes

"TESLA decided to change up the set list tonight by adding the epic tune "Song and Emotion" to the show!"

"Diehard TESLA fans know that this song was dedicated to the lake great Def Leppard guitarist Steve Steamin' Clark on their classic album "Psychotic Supper". TESLA toured with Def Leppard back in 1987 on their 'Hysteria' tour and became close friends with the late guitarist who founded the band with singer Joe Elliott, bassist Rick Savage, and drummer Rick Allen."
