Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell was interviewed on 28th July by radio hosts Rick and Brad and gave a new health update.
Vivian talked about a stage incident in Oklahoma City when in DIO, Ronnie James Dio, joining Def Leppard, his Facebook posting about Donald Trump/political "bollocks", the current live show and his health.

"My health is good. I'm still dealing with it. You know I had to miss the first four shows of this American tour in order to undergo some treatment but I've scheduled all the treatment. I won't be missing any shows either for the American tour or for Japan, Australia, UK or any shows in the foreseeable future. So it's fine you know. I've been dealing with it for a few years and I'll probably be dealing with it for the rest of my life. You know it's just maintenance."
"The hardest part about it for me has been the scheduling of it you know. I really, really hate to miss doing my work. My work is very, very important to me and that's also a very, very big part of the recovery with me. I absolutely 100 per cent refuse to capitulate to cancer you know but when I have to miss my shows because of scheduling medical treatments that really, really hurts. So I feel very fortunate that I'm able to continue the rest of the tour you know and it was the best possible outcome."
