The album reached number 11 in the US Billboard Top 200 album chart on the 17th August.
Also on this day in 1988 the 'Love Bites' single reached number 11 in the UK Top 40 singles chart. It had entered on 16th July at 20 and gone up the following week to 12.
The fourth UK single from the 'Hysteria' album spent 8 weeks on the chart (4 in the Top 20/6 in the Top 40).
