Def Leppard filmed the Let's Get Rocked video in early 1992 and rare Japanese documentary footage is available.

Japanese channel Sony Music TV broadcast a 30 minute 'Pick Up Artist' special in 1992. It was filmed in Los Angeles on a sound stage where the performance scenes for the 'Let's Get Rocked' video were being filmed. As with the MTV footage mentioned yesterday it's believed the video was filmed in either January or February 1992. It was directed by Steve Barron.

Joe, Phil and Sav are all featured talking about the making of 'Adrenalize' album, the album title/song style, song writing, Steve's contribution, the May/June 1992 club tour, the new In The Round stage, the initial plan to paint it in a Union Jack design and the idea for the LGR video which is shown at the end of part two.

In between the interviews footage is shown from the video shoot as the band perform in front of a blue screen. The footage helps you to see what bits were added in later when the computer animation was done.

The LGR video sections are from around 4-10 mins in video one and 1:30 to 9:44 mins in video two. The band are interviewed wearing their video clothes in between. Watch out for a little cameo appearance by Ross Halfin.

Watch both parts in the playlist below. Once again posted on YT by Bille.

Song Trivia - The 'wolf whistle' in the song is actually done by Joe's then wife Karla Elliott as none of the band could do it as well. (Thanks to Donna).
