Members of Def Leppard were interviewed by various TV channels in 1992/1993 and video footage is available.

The first interview dates from May 1992 on French TV with Sav and Joe interviewed on a show called "Top 50" on the Canal+ channel. They talked about the making of the 'Adrenalize' album, Bruce Springsteen's sister Pamela taking photos for the album, the chemistry of the band and the 1992 European football championships. It was probably taped when they played in Paris on 21st May - the show is referenced at the end.

The second interview features Joe talking in June 1992 before the band played Sheffield Arena. He talks about playing In The Round on the UK tour, band history. Also featured is legendary DJ Tommy Vance.

This comes from a show called "01-For London" hosted by Richard Jobson. It was first shown on 25th June 1992. the day before their two night stand at Earls Court in London attended by well over 30,000 fans (including me!). The end of this clip switches to a clip from an interview Joe did with Yorkshire TV used on the ITV show Raw Power. He tells a story from school that he later repeated on a BBC Sheffield radio show in September 2013.

The other clips are a multi-part special from Sony Music TV in Japan taped in May 1993 during their third Japanese tour. Archive clips from 1987 are included in part 3.

Joe and Sav talk about the history of the band including the first gig by Atomic Mass, how the band members met, forming Def Leppard, jamming with Phil before he joined, Pyromania, the Hysteria album, Rick's accident/recovery.

Watch the videos in the playlist below - over 30 mins in all. Many thanks once again to Bille for posting these on YT.
