Def Leppard/Joe Elliott collaborator and Canadian singer Emm Gryner is releasing a new album called 21st Century Ballads via Pledge Music.

The '21st Century Ballads' album was launched via Pledge Music in November 2014 and quickly reached well over its 100% funding target.

Emm is of course still working with Joe on a joint album that was last mentioned in December 2014 when Joe said it may be released later this year.

News of the album was first revealed in a 2012 interview that went unnoticed until May 2013. Vegas Rocks magazine had misheard Emm Gryner's name which was later revealed via a helpful New York based DJ.

Joe told VH1 last year he still hoped to release this album in 2015.

The new ballads album follows the 2014 album Torrential and is currently being recorded.

The Pledge Music page features updates on the recording process and details what you can buy. These include private home concerts, life time concert passes and much more.

21st Century Ballads - News Quotes

"My new album is 21st Century Ballads! Pre-order it here to get top-secret updates on the writing, recording and more."

"From my songs "Acid" to "Blackwinged Bird", I have always felt that the ballad communicates more of who I am. I even found it necessary to turn perfectly rockin' anthems like Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and The Clash's "Straight To Hell" into orchestral ballads. I felt the pull to start writing again this year, and decided to make an album that goes deeper than my cheery pop song repertoire."
