The Joe Elliott Show - Quotes

Show Intro

"Evening all and welcome to Joe's Garage. Yes, I am just actually at the studio so I can do the radio show. The boys are on their way home. We've been beavering away on the new Def Leppard album for the last couple of weeks. And we are getting really close. Don't have an exact release date yet but I will let you know. So all I can say for right now is that it will be coming out later this year."

"Sixty minutes of wonderful music for you tonight. Starting off with this beauty from 1973. This is Roxy Music."

XTC

"Kind of overlooked these days because they were so eccentric but myself and Rick Savage were really big fans of an album they did called English Settlement way, way back in the late 70s. That is XTC there with a hit single of theirs from way back in the 70s called Sgt. Rock. And before that from the album Next we heard the Sensational Alex Harvey Band with Swampsnake."

Show Outro

"Proving, even if he had to, which he didn't that he is a great singer. That is Perry Farrell from The Art Of McCartney tribute record to Paul McCartney with his version of the old Beatles classic Got To Get You Into My Life. And before that from his regular day job of Jane's Addiction we heard the title track from the album Strays."

"And that my friends brings this weeks show to a close, been a pleasure as always. I'm gonna leave you with a band that are much more well known for their amazing videos. So much so that people forget what a great band they are. The band are OK GO and from an album called Oh No this is Here It Goes Again. Until next week see ya!."
